8 rescued off Florida after vessel overturns, sheriff says

Eight of us had been rescued off the Florida fly this week after being at sea for extra 16 days, a Facebook post from a native sheriff’s space of job says.

The post identified those rescued as Cuban immigrants, six males and two pregnant females, whose makeshift vessel had capsized.

Martin County and St. Lucie County sheriffs both received calls Sunday night about a vessel trying to construct its system to shore south of Waveland Seaside in St. Lucie County.
