Peter Green, co-founding father of rock band Fleetwood Mac, has died at age of 73, based entirely on a law firm performing on behalf of his family.
“It is with good sadness that the family of Peter Green mutter his loss of life this weekend, peacefully in his sleep,” Swan Turton LLP, solicitors performing on behalf of his family, said in an announcement.
The blues guitarist and singer-songwriter started the band alongside drummer Mick Fleetwood and bass guitarist John McVie in London in 1967. He left the community about a years later in 1969 after battling psychological illness.
“For me, and each previous and demonstrate member of Fleetwood Mac, losing Peter Green is huge!” Mick Fleetwood said in an announcement. “I will miss you, but relaxation easy your music lives on. I thank you for asking me to be your drummer all these years ago. We did appropriate, and toddle blazed one hell of a musical road for so many to ride.”
