The Denver Broncos will flip to their third varied beginning quarterback this season for Thursday’s sport against the Novel York Jets.

Brett Rypien will start in space of the injured Drew Lock, Broncos coach Vic Fangio introduced Tuesday.

Jeff Driskel struggled for the length of Sunday’s 28-10 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Driskel replaced Lock in the first quarter of Denver’s Week 2 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mike Klis of 9News reported Lock will omit two to six weeks with a shoulder hurt.

The Denver offense managed 226 yards, and Driskel used to be sacked 5 instances.

Rypien signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Boise Articulate in 2019. The 24-year-historical used to be on the filled with life roster for four weeks closing season after Joe Flacco suffered a neck hurt, nonetheless he never seemed in a sport.
