- by Kate Gray
IGN simply printed a juicy half of-hour lengthy video of gameplay for Eastward, the post-apocalyptic pixel artwork action-lunge RPG. It be giving us a tiny bit bit retro Zelda, a smidgen of Secret of Mana, and a flee of The Final of Us; it also has cooking minigames, environmental puzzles, and frying pan fight.
But most of all, it is VERY barely, which is never any question what caught the observe of author Chucklefish (Stardew Valley, Witchbrook) — the game is being developed by a Shanghai studio named Pixpil, but is coming to Swap and PC with pixel artwork experts Chucklefish’s wait on.
We don’t hold a liberate date for Eastward but, even supposing Chucklefish said that it modified into as soon as coming “not but, but soon” attend in June (and they substitute their devblog barely regularly, whilst you happen to esteem to need to detect how it is going).
