GENEVA (AP) — American bicycle owner Quinn Simmons used to be suspended by the Hunch-Segafredo team on Thursday after posting adverse comments on social media in toughen of President Donald Trump.
The 2019 junior street traipse world champion spoke back to a journalist from the Netherlands who had criticized Trump on Twitter.
”Regrettably, team rider Quinn Simmons made statements online that we feel are divisive, incendiary, and detrimental to the team, first payment biking, its fans, and the definite future we hope to abet make for the sport,” Hunch-Segafredo acknowledged in an announcement. ”(He) could well perhaps no longer be racing for Hunch-Segafredo till extra look.”
The 19-12 months-ancient rider reacted Wednesday when Dutch journalist Jose Been posted on Twitter that she hoped for her American pals that ”this inferior presidency ends for you,” adding ”if you happen to appear at me and toughen Trump, you should perhaps presumably ride.”
Simmons spoke back by writing ”Bye” with an emoji of a unpleasant-skinned hand waving.
When a separate fable spoke back ”It sounds as if a Trumper,” Simmons countered ”That is factual” with a United States flag symbol.
