Five newbies are on the St. Louis Cardinals’ Opening Day roster, which the team published Thursday, correct hours sooner than their season opener at Cincinnati.
The 26-participant full of life roster includes five newbies (outfielders Dylan Carlson and Justin Williams, infielder/outfielder John Nogowski, infielder Edmundo Sosa and pitcher Jake Woodford) and one first-time Cardinal (third baseman Nolan Arenado).
