Florida men’s basketball player Keyontae Johnson, who collapsed in sport Saturday, thanks scientific doctors, followers in video

Keyontae Johnson, the Florida men’s basketball player who collapsed on the courtroom sooner or later of a sport Saturday, posted a video Friday on social media, thanking followers for his or her make stronger.

“I do know y’all were sending your prayers out the previous few weeks, and me and my parents are grateful for the prayers which were going out,” Johnson acknowledged within the video.

Johnson, 21, used to be taken to Tallahassee Memorial Scientific institution after he collapsed sooner or later of a timeout within the first half of the Gators’ sport at Florida Suppose. He used to be unresponsive and needed to be put into a medically introduced on coma, his grandfather, Larry DeJarnett, told USA TODAY Sports. Johnson has been recovering at UF’s Shands Scientific institution this week.

His mother, Nika Johnson, posted her be pleased thanks on Twitter: “Lord, while you carry out no longer enact the relaxation for me, you’re going to be pleased got done Sufficient! Thank you #keyontaestrong.”

The Gators canceled all of their nonconference video games whereas Johnson used to be hospitalized.
