Jones neglected two video games closing season thanks to hamstring and ankle injuries. The then-2nd-365 days quarterback sat out Fresh York’s 17-12 do away with over the Seattle Seahawks with a strained hamstring he at the beginning suffered the outdated week against the Cincinnati Bengals.

After returning to the lineup in Week 14 against the Arizona Cardinals, Jones suffered a sprained ankle. He became forced to sit down down out the Giants’ next game against the Cleveland Browns.

The Giants signed old Mike Glennon in the offseason to attend as Jones’ backup. Glennon started five video games for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2020, throwing for 1,072 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions.

Jones has plenty driving on this season. The Giants can exercise the fifth-365 days option on his rookie contract next offseason. If he performs properly this 365 days, that option will most likely be a no-brainer for the group.

By four video games, the outcomes were mixed for Jones and unhealthy for the Giants. He has thrown for 1,184 yards, ride for 188 yards and accounted for six touchdowns.
