Jay Murky, lead singer of rock community Jay and the People, has died from issues attributable to pneumonia, his family announced on Saturday. He used to be 82.
Born in Brooklyn and to delivery with named David Blatt, Murky modified his name upon becoming a member of Jay and the People, whereby he replaced Jay Traynor. The band’s albums consist of Advance a Little Bit Closer and Sands of Time.
