Lance Waldroup, Superstar of Discovery’s ‘Moonshiners,’ Dies at 30

Lance Waldroup, considered one of many moonshiners featured on Discovery’s “Moonshiners” series, has died on the age of 30.

In maintaining with an announcement from the community, Waldroup died on Feb. 25 at his home in North Carolina.

“We’re saddened to listen to about the shortcoming of Lance Waldroup,” the community said. “An adventurous distiller who used to be featured alongside his father at some stage within the early seasons of Moonshiners, Lance used to be ceaselessly having a research to put off his flavorful recipes of ‘shine to fresh heights. He’ll be sorely overlooked. Our ideas and prayers are with his family at this no longer easy time.”

Waldroup used to be featured on multiple episodes of the series alongside his father, Jeff, a feeble bootlegger.

A GoFundMe page set up of living up in Waldroup’s memory described his demise as “unexpected.” In maintaining with the page, Waldroup “used to be an addict for a lot of years and then decided to expose his life spherical.”

“He quit ‘Moonshiners’ to put off care of his mom plump time doing the entire cooking and cleaning,” the page said. “He did no longer are looking to leave her side and waited on her hand and foot.”
