Max Holloway didn’t pull any punches when talking about his lack of pastime in a rematch with Conor McGregor. 

“That used to be on a in actuality short record for UFC if everything went well in his last fight and it didn’t,” Holloway suggested TMZ Sports referring to the replacement of a McGregor rematch. “And I originate no longer wanna kick a dog when it’s down. McGregor, clearly, lost to Dustin Poirier by 2d-spherical TKO in January. McGregor did beat Holloway the total arrangement abet in 2013 by resolution, on the opposite hand. 

As for Holloway, he’s fresh off a January victory over Calvin Kattar, which snapped a two-fight shedding lunge. He also suffered defeat on the hands of Poirier in most modern years, shedding to him by resolution in 2019 with the UFC’s intervening time lightweight title on the line.
