NASA’s Parker Solar Probe had a surprise shut come across with a comet

A spacecraft on a mission to the solar had a surprise come across with a comet last twelve months – and stumbled on evidence that it is going to also no longer be a comet finally.

NASA’s Parker Solar Probe (PSP) used to be launched in 2018 to perceive the solar and is currently silent in a shut orbit, travelling in a plight of the solar diagram in total visited by comets.

Jiansen He at Peking College in Beijing, China, and his colleagues checked the orbital trajectory of the spacecraft against a database of comets, procuring for doubtless encounters. …
