The Oak Park and River Forest High College board on Jan. 28 approved the hiring of Nicole Ebsen as its recent athletic director, a feature she can formally buy later this summer.
Ebsen currently serves because the athletic and actions director at Morton High College District 201, where she oversees bigger than 8,000 students on two campuses.

Ebsen takes over for John Stelzer, who is retiring from OPRF High College after 17 years, 14 of which he served as athletic director. Ebsen will start working at OPRF on July 1.
Ebsen started her instructing occupation at Glenbard West High College, where she served as a PE/health instructor and coached volleyball, softball and badminton. She later became that faculty’s assistant athletic director.
In 2009, Ebsen started serving as dean of students at Morton East High College, and in every single place in the next 12 years, she took on a big selection of responsibilities, including pupil process director and director of PE, health and driver’s education. She became athletic director of Morton East and West excessive faculties within the autumn of 2015.

Ebsen holds a bachelor’s diploma in physical education from Jap Illinois University and a masters of education diploma with a highlight on tutorial administration from Lewis University.
