Does any person beget any advice for managing folks’s occupation development (pathways, performance reports, targets etc.) after they beget got no curiosity in progressing?
I want / am presupposed to give unprecedented occupation planning with my team, but many of them are moderately fully chuffed and settled doing what they’re doing – and I’m completely frigid with that because they manufacture it effectively and are taking half in their work. They beget got families, they beget got lives begin air of labor, and so that they’re looking out to lawful get on with the work in preference to continually mountain climbing the ladder or doing performance overview paperwork.
I truly am more attracted to the work I’m doing honest now (i.e. building facets that bid more worth to the industry than the bother/time/money it takes to manufacture them) in preference to continually planning semi-arbitrary “targets” every 6 months for a promotion I will also simply not even prefer.
So – how manufacture you prepare folks’s occupation planning (alongside side yourself) after they beget got no curiosity in progressing? Is it OK to lawful allege, “I’m fully chuffed doing what I’m doing”?
