ANAHEIM — Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon, who has been out since April 10 with a strained left groin, ramped up his baseball actions on Tuesday and is nearing a return, manager Joe Maddon acknowledged.
Rendon improved to light baseball actions on Monday, then increased his depth on Tuesday, swinging the bat and take part in fielding affirm with out any disorders. He’s eligible to reach aid from the injured list on Wednesday, but it completely calm looks extra likely he’ll return rapidly after that.
