TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) — A series of more than 20 earthquakes struck the east waft of Taiwan on Wednesday morning, inflicting some harm.
The Central Weather Bureau reported 22 quakes over two hours beginning at 6: 52 a.m.
The major used to be the largest with a magnitude of 5.2 and struck at a rather shallow depth of 5.9 kilometers (3.7 miles). The others ranged from magnitude 3.0 to 5.0.
A picture posted on the Taiwan Apple Day by day news web page confirmed the stays of a 2nd ground wall above a storefront that had fallen to the side road and crumbled. The earthquakes had been in Hualien County all over the midpoint of the island’s east waft.
