It is over.

The so-called “seven minutes of dread” elapsed without incident, and when it used to be all around the Perseverance Mars rover used to be safely touched down on the flooring of the Red Planet. Its arrival brings the total flooring inhabitants of Earth-made land vehicles to 2, with Perseverance becoming a member of the Curiosity rover.
