West Bengal’s ruling Trinamool Congress legislator Samaresh Das, who had tested obvious for Covid-19, died at a sanatorium in West Bengal’s East Midnapore district on Monday.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed condolences, announcing: “I am deeply saddened on the loss of life of Samaresh Das who modified into an MLA from the Egra Assembly constituency in East Midnapore. His untimely loss of life will produce a gigantic vacuum in the enviornment of politics”.
