Bank of The US hires Zhang for China exchange, memo says

HONG KONG (Reuters) – Bank of The US China has employed Wenjie Zhang as managing director and president, in step with a memo considered by Reuters.

Zhang can be based fully in Shanghai and can be appointed as branch manager of Bank of The US Shanghai, self-discipline to regulatory approval, the memo acknowledged.

He joins the financial institution from HSBC HSBA.L, the assign he was most lately co-head of worldwide banking and govt vice president of HSBC China.

A Bank of The US BAC.N spokeswoman confirmed the contents of the memo.
