Boeing Jets, A selection of U.S. Items Value $4 Billion Face EU Tariffs

BRUSSELS—Elevating the stakes in a large, protracted change fight, the European Union’s high change official acknowledged the bloc will impose tariffs on $3.99 billion of Boeing Co. jets and diversified U.S. items annually, with the honest of negotiating a settlement.

The EU motion, sanctioned closing month by the World Commerce Organization, comes 13 months after the U.S. imposed WTO-licensed tariffs on $7.5 billion in Airbus SE jets and diversified imported European products, essentially the most considerable arbitration award in WTO history.
