Hawks Command Juneteenth Will Be Paid Firm Holiday for All Employees

The Atlanta Hawks launched Sunday that Juneteenth would be a paid company vacation for all crew workers going forward.

The Hawks assert they’ve designated Juneteenth as a permanent paid company vacation for all its workers. Relationship lend a hand to 1865, it was once on June 19 that the Union troopers arrived in Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free.

Whereas Juneteenth is no longer but identified as a nationwide vacation, 47 states and the District of Columbia gape it as a vacation or day of observance. Texas first did so in 1980.
