Hilton Valentine, Guitarist for The Animals, Dies at 77

Valentine became born in 1943 in Northumberland, England, and joined The Animals, which became led by frontman Eric Burdon, in the early 1960s. Beginning with The Animals in 1964, the team launched just a few albums and had many rotating participants through the years.

Their hits consist of “The Dwelling of the Rising Solar” and “We Gotta Rep Out of This Yell.”

The band’s final album became Ark in 1983. In 1994, the team became inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Reputation.

Later in Valentine’s career, he resided in California and labored on solo projects including the album All in Your Head and Skiffledog on Coburg Twin carriageway.

Survivors consist of Valentine’s wife, Germaine.
