Lithuanian doctors gain kilo of screws and nails in man’s belly

Doctors in Lithuania acknowledged on Friday they’d removed over a kilogram of nails and screws from the belly of a one who started swallowing metallic objects after quitting alcohol.

The man, who was no longer identified for reasons of patient confidentiality, was admitted to well being facility within the Baltic port city of Klaipeda with severe abdominal effort.

An X-ray of his belly confirmed up objects of metallic—some measuring as much as 10 centimetres (four inches).
