Cleveland Browns wideout Odell Beckham Jr. will miss the leisure of the 2020 season with a torn ACL. When he returns in 2021, some skills evaluators will now no longer witness him as a No. 1 receiver.

“I don’t deem about him as a No. 1,” one evaluator told Mike Sando of The Athletic. “I deem about him as a staunch two. Accidents absorb taken a toll on him. I deem he is a man that should be in a complementary role. After I deem of the ones, despite what the plot is, they make it staunch. A form of staunch, young receivers absorb eclipsed him.”

Beckham is a three-time Pro Bowler nonetheless hasn’t bought the glory since the 2016 season. By the level he gets reduction on the discipline next season, he could absorb neglected 25 video games within the closing four years.

His only paunchy season over that span turned into once a disappointing 2019 that seen him express 74 receptions for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns. He turned into once on tempo for an even worse efficiency in 2020, neatly on his system to his first paunchy season under the 1,000-yard put.

As a substitute, Beckham will exhaust the leisure of his season and the offseason rehabbing his 2nd principal leg damage since 2017. Ian Rapoport of NFL Community reported Sunday that or no longer it’s seemingly he has played his closing game in Cleveland.

The Browns are expected to explore trading Beckham this offseason even supposing $12.8 million of his 2021 salary is now guaranteed thanks to damage. Cleveland does no longer owe him any guaranteed cash beyond next season.

Or no longer it’s seemingly a team can be ready to make a choice up low on Beckham, thinking the Browns gave up Jabrill Peppers, Kevin Zeitler and first- and third-spherical picks for him and Olivier Vernon in 2019. At only, he could garner a Day 2 earn and presumably one more conditional choice after his ACL trek.
