Sept. 7 (UPI) — A dolphin that turned stranded in a Louisiana neighborhood by Typhoon Ida’s floodwaters modified into rescued and returned to the wild.
SeaWorld Rescue acknowledged in a news release that a crew worked alongside with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Audubon Aquarium’s Coastal Wildlife Community, the Institute for Marine Mammal Learn, the Dauphin Island Sea Lab and the National Marine Mammal Foundation to rescue a dolphin stranded in a small Slidell pond.
