‘The Glance’: Joy Behar Says Trump Gained’t Flee in 2024 ‘Until He Does It From Rikers Island’ (Video)
On Monday’s “The Glance,” Joy Behar reacted to the news of Trump’s CPAC speech, the build he hinted that he was quiet pondering a 2024 bustle for presidency.
“I don’t mediate that he’ll bustle yet one more time in 2024, unless he does it from Rikers Island,” Behar snarked, bringing up used French president Nicolas Sarkozy who was no longer too long up to now convicted and arrested and placed on residence arrest. “There’s a precedent already dwelling on this planet. It’s no longer like, oh, we are in a position to’t have confidence a used president under arrest…certain, we are in a position to.”
Behar admitted she didn’t behold the match “because I know what they originate” but went on to demonstrate that “CPAC is more healthy because C stands for cult and I’ve never seen folk working so laborious to admire the god that is Donald Trump.”
Co-host Sara Haines acknowledged that she didn’t behold the match either, but she did study a transcript of Trump’s speech. “I’d forgotten how much gaslighting goes on in these speeches…there had been so many lies and misinformation,” Haines said.
Whoopi Goldberg showed some clips of Republican speeches from the match, reminding the hosts that the theme of the match was “The United States Uncanceled” — a time length and idea that Behar and Haines took discipline with for its irony.
“The these who are getting canceled are Republicans by other Republicans,” Behar much. “Liz Cheney was canceled by the Josh Hawley hover, and Adam Kinzinger is being canceled…so that they’re cancelling one yet one more. It’s mesmerizing to behold.” Sara Haines talked about how in his speech, Trump had doubled down on the team spirit in the Republican birthday celebration and how, no topic rumors, he’s no longer starting up a unique one.
“But he did capture the time to rattle off 17 Republicans names like a blacklist — to the cancel tradition that Joy correct talked about, they now comprise targets on their motivate,” Haines said.
