LONDON (Reuters) – Strawberries that will maybe well had been chomped on by tennis fans at some level of the Wimbledon fortnight are being despatched to London’s NHS and frontline crew as a label of thanks for his or her efforts at some level of the coronavirus pandemic.

Wimbledon has also been bright in serving to the local community at some level of the pandemic, offering 200 sizzling meals per day to those in need in local boroughs.

These meals will now feature some contemporary strawberries too.

Roughly 27,000 kilos of strawberries and 7,000 litres of cream are in most cases eaten at some level of the Wimbledon championships.
