WPI inflation falls 1.81% in June over gas prices, but meals prices rise
The wholesale designate-essentially based inflation declined 1.81 per cent in June due to the decline in prices of gas and energy, at the same time as meals articles remained pricey.

“The annual rate of inflation, in step with monthly WPI (Wholesale Worth Index), stood at (-1.81 per cent) (provisional) for the month of June, 2020, in contrast to 2.02 per cent right via the corresponding month of the outdated year,” the Commerce and Replace Ministry said in a press liberate.
